05/03/2010: S-Berg Racing continues ALPINA‘s Engagement in GT3

2009 was a very successful year in racing for ALPINA , with four victories (one from customer team Sport Garage), 625 kilometers in the lead, and nine front-row starting positions. However, ALPINA will not field a factory works team in GT3 in 2010.  "We showed that we‘re in a position to develop a race car capable of victory in a very short time, and we now wish to focus on developing our customer team business. We are looking forward to continuing last year‘s successes with new customers S-Berg Racing, for example," said team boss Andreas Bovensiepen.

19/02/2010: Haase and Mies Confirmed as 2009 Champions

Phoenix Racing’s Christopher Haase and Christopher Mies have been confirmed as the 2009 FIA GT3 European Champions by the FIA following the decision by the RACB to reject the appeal made after the result of the final event of the 2009 season at Zolder last October.

09/02/2010: Mühlner To Run Two Cars in 2010 The in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium based Mühlner Motorsport Team will again enter two Porsches in the FIA European GT3 Championship in 2010. They will be running the brand new GT3 version of the 911, the GT3 R. With Frenchman Gilles Vannelet, who won the FIA European GT3 Championship in 2007, and the German Frank Schmickler, successful in both sprint and endurance racing, the crew for one Porsche 911 GT3 R is already settled.   read more
05/02/2010: New FIA GT3 European Championship Brand Identity SRO Motorsports Group (SRO) have launched a new 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship brand identity. Having been awarded world championship status by the FIA World Motor Sport Council, this year’s FIA GT1 World Championship will visit 10 countries in four continents, supported with a new logo and identity.    read more
02/02/2010: 2007 Champion Takes on the World 2007 FIA GT3 European Champion Henri Moser (23) has already made a name for himself in motorsports and has been confirmed as a driver for Swiss Racing Team, sharing the cockpit of the Nissan GT-R with Karl Wendlinger in the FIA GT1 World Championship.   read more
