In its inaurgural season, the FIA GT3 European Championship should have grids of up to 50 cars, with represented cars including Ascari, Aston Martin DBR9, Corvette Z06, Dodge Coupe, Ferrari 430, Lamborghini Gallardo, Maserati GranSport Light, Porsche 997 and Venturi Heritage. The cars will compete alongside the FIA GT Championship at five events, each time taking part in two one-hour races, with an obligatory driver changeover.
